The WLC was formed in 2010, intentionally the same year of the 40th year anniversary of coeducation at Trinity. The group of female trustees behind its founding wanted to increase the ties female graduates had to the school, supporting women throughout all stages of their careers, and providing mentorship to female undergraduates as they prepare for life after college. | The WLC was formed in 2010, intentionally the same year as the 40th anniversary of [[coeducation|coeducation]] at Trinity.
