| Convocation is an event which introduces and welcomes the incoming freshman class to the College, held on the same day as [[matriculation|Matriculation]]. The ceremony entails the freshmen gathering together during their Orientation Week, often on the Main Quad, and listening to speeches addressed to them about their upcoming four years at Trinity.
