| Convocation is an event held to introduce and welcome the incoming freshmen class to the college, held on the same day as [[matriculation|Matriculation]]. The ceremony entails the freshmen gathering together during their Orientation Week, often on the Main Quad, and listening to speeches addressed to them about their upcoming four years at Trinity.
