St. Anthony Hall
St. Anthony Hall is the house of the Epsilon chapter of Delta Psi at Trinity College. Located at the Gallows Hill section of campus on Summit Street, the building was designed by Josiah Cleveland Cady of New York after William Burges' London residence (which Burges designed himself). The creation of a chapter house for Delta Psi started a trend amongst other student societies. I.K.A. followed with St. Elmo's Hall in 1882, and Beta Beta in 1884 and then again in 1902.
Undergraduates organized the Epsilon chapter of Delta Psi (also called St. Anthony Hall) in 1850. The chapter used rented space in downtown Hartford until 1878, when St. Anthony Hall was built.
St. Anthony Hall has obtained 'national landmark' status and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
