The field was built in 2002, and is dedicated to former Bantams field hockey and women's lacrosse coach Robin Sheppard.  The turf was re-done in the summer of 2018.  Its surroundings were enhanced with the construction of Tansill Muldoon Stadium in the summer/fall of 2022.
