Frohman-Robb Dormitory
Frohman-Robb was a student dormitory located at 78-80 and 82-84 Crescent Street.
In 1982, Frohman-Robb was named in honor of Philip H. Frohman and Donald H. Robb of the architectural firm of Frohman, Robb & Little. This firm designed the Trinity College Chapel.
Frohman-Robb was originally two separate buildings, but in 1987, major renovations and additions joined the two in the center space in between, forming one single building. The newly united buildings contained single and double rooms with anticipation to make them all single rooms with further construction of new residential spaces on Vernon Street. The design for the unified space came from the Hartford architectural firm of Tai Soo Kim Associates.
